The Flip uses four sharp Lenses that are automatically selected based on the distance to the subject. This means four focus points (compared to the two on the Now/Now+) that provide sharper focus for a variety of styles, from cultured portraits to spontaneous street photography.
The Flip uses sonar waves to assess the subject of your shot and then selects the right lens for maximum focus clarity. An added benefit? Because sonar is not affected by light, the Flip works equally well in dark or very bright conditions. Sharp photos, whatever your photography style.
The Flash in the Flip is the most powerful Polaroid flash ever thanks to the space allocated in the Flip's lid. It can also adjust its power according to the distance from your subject - up to 4.5 metres. With the Flip, tricky lighting situations are a lot easier.

Via the viewfinder LED, the Flip's scène analysis alerts you when your photo is over- or underexposed, and when your subject is too close. There's nothing like fair warning before you take a bad picture.
