The Profoto Softgrid 4' Octa can be attached to the recessed front of a Profoto octa softbox. The softgrid reduces light diffusion by up to 50°. In other words, it createsëer a more focused light and eliminates a large amount of stray light, allowing you to shape the light even more precisely.
By reducing light diffusion, a softgrid can help create more contrast in your images, resulting in a more dramatic and atmospheric look. With regard to reducing unwanted stray light, it is especially useful when you need to avoid illuminating the background or surrounding areas.
