Pulsar Thermal Imaging Monocular Telos LRF XL50
The Pulsar Thermal Imaging Monocular Telos LRF XL50 is the new concept of a retrofittable monocular thermal imager. This thermal imaging device series is the first on the market to offer the possibility of technical hardware upgrades. The components of the Telos can be replaced with new components with improved functions. The owner does not have to buy a new device every time a different technology is introduced. Telos is designed to be time-proof and future-proof, constantly adapting to the ever-changing needs of hunters. With Pulsar's new retrofitting concept, your Telos becomes a renewable device. Or, if you prefer, a device for life.
(*The retrofit programme is going into production and will be rolled out later.)
Retrofitting options:
- Addition of laser rangefinder for non-LRF models
- Retrofitting the sensor
- Retrofitting the lens
Activate the haptic feedback function in the Telos short menu for more tactile and intuitive use of the Pulsar Premium handheld devices. The thermal imager responds with short vibrations when you press the control buttons.
Ideally, you can adjust the image in the Telos with one hand - the rings for focus and smooth zoom are in the classic arrangement on the lens, one after the other, as in professional camera lenses. The uniform arrangement of the rings makes it possible to get a clear image with the desired magnification quickly and with little effort.
Correctly estimating the distance to the target object is an essential factor in making the right decisions. A built-in laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometre enables distance measurements in single and continuous measurement modes with an accuracy of ± 1 metre for quick and error-free assessment of the situation.
Telos thermal imagers are designed for use in harsh outdoor environments and in the temperature range from -25 to +40°C. This means that the thermal imaging device is waterproof even when fully immersed in water. The rubberised housing made of polymer composite material offers the best operating characteristics. The design without protruding parts and the ergonomically optimal housing shape of Telos thermal imaging devices contribute to safety and comfort in long-term use.
The quick-change Li-ion battery LPS 7i guarantees an operating time of more than 8 hours. The LPS 7i requires no special chargers: simply connect it to a power adapter via the USB Type-C port and charge in no time using the Power Delivery fast charging protocol. The LPS 7i battery also supports wireless charging.
The rubberised casing ensures that the thermal imaging device is safe to hold in both dry weather and rain. The housing is extremely hard-wearing and perfectly resistant to extreme temperatures and the influences of dust and moisture. It also protects the device in the event of a fall. Moreover, the housing is easy to clean and retains its original appearance for a long time.
The vertical, symmetrical arrangement of the controls allows the Telos to be operated with both hands with equal comfort: the buttons are located in a row at the top and the lens rings are used for focusing and changing magnification.
A hunter needs to be able to move quickly. Good equipment is characterised by being available when needed and invisible the rest of the time. The Telos bag has an elegant look, is user-friendly and comfortable to carry. The thermal imaging device can be removed and positioned quickly and easily. The optimal positioning of the belt distributes the weight of the thermal imaging device over the hunter's body, relieving pressure on the shoulders, back and neck. The cover fits closely to the body without preventing the hunter from bending, turning, bending, moving through the country and using weapons freely. In addition, the Telos bag is equipped with straps that allow it to be attached to a hip belt, as well as equipment with a modular Molle attachment system, including backpacks and slings.
