Description

Pulsar Thermal Imaging Scope Telos LRF XP50

The Pulsar Thermal Imaging Scope Telos LRF XP50 is a retrofit thermal imaging device. In the high-tech industry, components and software solutions are improved every year. Thermal imaging is no exception. Users' selection criteria and preferences also change over time. Moreover, they have developed their own requirements for device performance and operation over time. When developing the Telos thermal imaging monocular, the focus was on technology and user requirements. Telos is the first line of thermal imaging devices on the market that can be technically upgraded upon customer request. Take ownership of the Telos and get the chance to improve it flexibly and profitably over the years. Upgrade it with high-quality optics, a higher-resolution sensor and screen, more efficient electronics and more functions. Or complement the thermal imaging device with a laser rangefinder and additional optical channels. This means you always have the latest model, with only the upgrade cost.

The extremely sensitive thermal image sensor with a NETD value of <18 mK ensures impressive thermal image quality and perfect detail recognition even in the most adverse weather conditions when thermal contrast is low. The smallest temperature differences are clearly visible in rain, fog or cold morning hours, i.e. under the most difficult thermal imaging camera conditions.

Pulsar Image Boost gives the Telos thermal imager the highest level of detail, clarity and contrast with a range of original image processing algorithms. Telos thermal imagers reproduce complex scenes in a wide range of halftones with uniformly radiant low-contrast objects such as sky, grass and water surfaces. Software-based detailing and focusing of objects at different distances makes the thermal image very rich in information. Manual sensitivity enhancement of the thermal image sensor improves the quality of animal detection when observation conditions deteriorate. A smoothing filter and a wide range of brightness and contrast settings enable comfortable observation over a longer period of time.

Ideally, you can adjust the image in the Telos with one hand - the rings for focus and smooth zoom are located on the lens in the classic arrangement, one after the other, as in professional camera lenses. The even arrangement of the rings makes it possible to get a clear image with the desired magnification quickly and with little effort.

Correct estimation of the distance to the target object is an essential factor in making the right decisions. A built-in laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometre enables distance measurements in single measurement and continuous measurement mode with an accuracy of ± 1 metre for quick and error-free assessment of the situation.

Telos thermal imagers are designed for use in harsh outdoor environments and in the temperature range from -25 to +40 °C. The thermal imaging device is therefore waterproof even when fully immersed in water. The rubber-coated polymer composite housing offers the best operating characteristics. The design without protruding parts and the ergonomically optimal housing shape of the Telos thermal imaging devices contribute to safety and comfort in longer use.

The brand new LPS 7i quick-change Li-ion battery guarantees an operating time of over 8 hours. The LPS 7i needs no special chargers: simply connect it to a power adapter via the USB Type-C port and charge it in no time with the Power Delivery fast charging protocol. The LPS 7i battery also supports wireless charging.

The rubberised casing ensures that the thermal imaging device is firmly in place in both dry and rainy weather. The casing is exceptionally hard-wearing and provides excellent resistance to extreme temperatures during use, as well as to the action of dust and moisture. It also protects the device in the event of a fall. Moreover, the casing is easy to clean and retains its original appearance for a long time.
