Description
Pulsar Thermal Imaging Scope Telos XP50
The Pulsar thermal imaging scope Telos XP50 is part of the first product line of thermal imaging devices that can be technically upgraded at the customer's request. Become the owner of this Telos and get the opportunity to flexibly and profitably improve it over the years. Upgrade it with high-quality optics, a higher-resolution sensor and display, more efficient electronics and more functions. Or supplement the thermal imaging device with a laser rangefinder and additional optical channels. This way you always have the latest model, with only the costs for retrofitting.
The extremely sensitive thermal imaging sensor with a NETD value of <18 mK ensures impressive thermal image quality and perfect detail recognition, even under the most adverse weather conditions when the thermal contrast is low. The smallest temperature differences become clearly visible in rain, fog or cold mornings, i.e. under the most difficult conditions for the thermal imager.
Pulsar Image Boost gives the Telos thermal imaging camera the highest level of detail, clarity and contrast with a range of original image processing algorithms. Telos thermal imaging cameras reproduce complex scenes in a wide range of halftones with uniformly radiating low-contrast objects such as sky, grass and water surfaces. By software-based detailing and focusing on objects at different distances, the thermal image becomes very informative. Manually increasing the sensitivity of the thermal imaging sensor improves the quality of animal detection when observation conditions deteriorate. A flattening filter and a wide range of brightness and contrast settings allow comfortable observation over a longer period of time.
Ideally, you can adjust the image in the Telos with one hand - the rings for focus and smooth zoom are located in the classic arrangement on the lens, one after the other, as in professional camera lenses. The uniform arrangement of the rings makes it possible to quickly and with little effort obtain a clear image with the desired magnification.
Telos thermal imaging devices are designed for use in harsh outdoor areas and in the temperature range of -25 to +40 °C. This means that the thermal imaging device is waterproof, even when completely submerged in water. The rubberized housing made of polymer composite material offers the best operating properties. The design without protruding parts and the ergonomically optimal housing shape of the Telos thermal imaging devices contribute to safety and comfort during long-term use.
The brand new LPS 7i quick-change Li-Ion battery guarantees an operating time of more than 8 hours. The LPS 7i does not require any special chargers: simply connect it to a power adapter via the USB Type-C port and charge it in no time using the Power Delivery fast charging protocol. The LPS 7i battery also supports wireless charging.
The rubberized housing ensures that the thermal imaging device fits securely in the hand in both dry and rainy weather. The casing is extremely hard-wearing and is perfectly resistant to extreme temperatures and the effects of dust and moisture. It also protects the device in the event of a fall. In addition, the housing is easy to clean and retains its original appearance for a long time.
