Description
The Samyang 35mm F1.2 ED AS UMC CS MFT is a standard lens with manual focus, designed for mirrorless cameras with an APS-C or MFT (MicroFourThirds) sensor. Thanks to the very large aperture of f/1.2, you have a beautiful and impressive bokeh, which makes subjects smoothly blur into a beautifully blurred background.
The optical design naturally uses Samyang's exceptional know-how, the lens has 9 glass lens elements in 7 groups, one of which is extra-low dispersion (ED) and two aspherical (ASP). This minimizes unwanted light scattering and delivers a high resolution from the centre to corner. This lens is also equipped with Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) which optimizes light transmission and prevents flare and ghosting. The Samyang 35 mm f/1.2 works on an APS-C camera as a 50 mm f/1.2 standard lens. With a full aperture, this produces razor-sharp photos with an enormous amount of sharpness.
The 9 aperture blades are designed in such a way that an almost round aperture opening is created, in order to create very beautiful bokeh. The housing is made of a very strong aluminium alloy and is thus compact and sturdy. Due to the large filter size of 62 mm, a maximum amount of light enters the lens to make the best use of the available existing light.
