The Samyang 85mm F/1.4 AF Canon RF is a prime lens for mirrorless cameras with the Canon RF mount, which lends itself very well to portrait photography. With this lens you are assured of beautiful bokeh, excellent image quality and fast and quiet autofocus.
Samyang's RF lenses are known for their good image quality, and this is the case too with the 85mm lens. It uses 11 elements in 8 groups, with 4 high-refractive (HR) lens elements and an additional low-dispersion (ED) lens element, designed to create impressive corner-to-corner image quality.
The exceptional bokeh is achieved through the application of Samyang's optical know-how in lens design. The smooth bokeh gives depth and a three-dimensional feel to portraits. The nine aperture blades provide a natural, rounded bokeh with a fantastic blur effect that is a feast for the eyes.
