Description
Sennheiser MKH 8018 stereo shotgun microphone
Climate-resistant and robust, while capturing stereo sound in all its finest detail: Sennheiser MKH 8018 stereo shotgun microphone is a condenser microphone that is far from standard. The MKH 8018 is suitable for broadcast and film applications.
The higher-end short shotgun microphone complements the company's MKH 8000 range of RF condenser microphones, which excel in the field for their climate-resistant ruggedness, and natural sound recording with virtually no off-axis colouration. The compact and lightweight MKH 8018 offers flexibility for the audio engineer and features three switchable stereo modes: MS stereo, wide XY stereo and narrow XY stereo. MS mode allows the engineer to infinitely adjust spatial reproduction at the mixing console, while XY modes are pre-mixed in the MKH 8018, with settings fine-tuned during several tests.
