Shimoda Core Unit Large Mirrorless MKII - 520-223
The Shimoda core unit large mirrorless offers shockproof protection for your system or SLR camera, lenses and other accessories. It is a bag divider designed for system and SLR cameras up to 12 centimetres high. The core unit is ideal for cameras such as the Fujifilm X-T4, the Sony a7 series but also for example the Canon 5D.
The base unit offers access to the camera from the side, so you can easily combine the bag divider with a backpack that also offers access from the side such as the Shimoda Action X30 or Explore V2 30 backpacks. If you need more space, you can always stack modularly by using multiple core units at the same time.
The walls and dividers of the Shimoda core unit are made of EVA. EVA offers much better protection than the cheaper PE foam used in many camera bags. The EVA edges are thin and take up little space while still providing superior protection. The frame is made of aluminium for added strength and support. A ziped closure allows for quick access to your camera from the side.
The Shimoda base unit comes with a lightweight, water-resistant case. The case is ideal for storing your gear, keeping the core unit sealed and dust-free. You can also use the cover as an additional packaging option for clothing or other items.
