The SmallRig 2851 focus motor rod mount component for the DJI RS 2 is designed to attach the DJI RS 2 focus motor to your gimbal when the lens sits higher than the standard focus rod mount can reach. It is higher than the normal focus rod mount and specifically designed to work with the optional SmallRig 3031 quick release plate.
It slides into a quick-release plate and is adjustable back and forth within 50 millimeters. The rod mount part is also compatible with the original DJI focus rod mount, so the follow focus and zoom can be mounted together. Equipped with a 15-12mm rod clamp adapter, it is compatible with a focus motor with both 12mm and 15mm rod clamp. The rod mount can be slid left and right within 16 millimeters, which is compatible with different diameter lens.
