SmallRig 5197 Cage Kit for Canon EOS R6 Mark II
Designed to enhance handheld shooting, the SmallRig 5197 Cage Kit for Canon EOS R6 Mark II offers enhanced portability and accessory expansion. The kit includes a cage, a USB-C & HDMI cable clip and a comfortable top handle for convenient carrying of the camera and shooting from a low angle.
The cage and top handle feature various expansion interfaces, including multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes for attaching monitor mounts (ID 2904B), multiple cold shoe mounts for microphones (SmallRig ID 3487), video lights (SmallRig ID 4660, 3286B) and other optional accessories. In addition, built-in 3/8"-16 ARRI location holes allow attachment of separately available monitor mounts (SmallRig ID 2903B), while a NATO rail on the left side accommodates NATO-clamped accessories such as side handles (SmallRig ID 4485, 3260).
The USB-C & HDMI cable clamp is securely attached to the left side of the cage with two M3 screws to prevent deflection. A dual spanner is included to tighten the screws and secure the cables, protecting the camera's USB-C and HDMI ports and ensuring stable data transfer.
In addition, the cage has dedicated wrist strap slots on both sides for added convenience, and a magnetic dual key is conveniently located at the bottom, making assembly and disassembly easier.
