The SmallRig portable cage kit for the Sony FX30 / FX3 4184 is a comprehensive cage for your Sony video camera with two different sizes of NATO rails and accessories to create a comfortable handheld rig that meets your needs. < /p>
It is possible to expand the cage using the XLR expansion component with the separately available Sony Audio Handle, in order to add different audio sources to your equipment. Because there are multiple 1/4"-20 and ARRI anti-twist 3/8"-16 threads in the cage, you can choose to expand your cage with hinged arms. It is also possible to place your camera in a vertical orientation, all with full access to the camera's buttons and ports.
The cage also features an accessory shoe holder that allows you to attach an external monitor or shotgun microphone. You can attach the included hand strap to the appropriate slots in the cage for an ergonomic handle. You can secure your camera in no time thanks to the three 1/4"-20 screws. The built-in Arca-type plate allows the cage as a whole, including the camera, to be mounted on a compatible tripod or stabilizer.
