The SmallRig HawkLock Quick Release Cage for Canon EOS R5 Mark II 4977 has been carefully designed to provide comprehensive protection and a multitude of expansion options for your camera. The cage secures the camera in place with a single 1/4"-20 screw at the base and two positioning blocks at the sides, with built-in silicone pads to prevent scratching the camera.

The cage provides unobstructed access to all the camera's buttons, slots, screen, battery compartment and other interfaces. It also features a built-in HawkLock quick-release patent structure, which allows quick and secure one-touch attachment with a self-locking mechanism, eliminating the need for additional bracing. The bidirectional mounting design allows for a free installation orientation.

The top and sides of the cage are equipped with H21 NATO rails, allowing quick attachment of optional accessories such as top handles (SmallRig ID 4483, 3766), monitor mounts (SmallRig ID 2904B) and magic arms (SmallRig ID 3874) to expand surveillance capabilities. It also features multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes and 1/4"-20 positioning holes for compatibility with side handles (SmallRig ID 2093, 4346) and other accessories. It supports the expansion of optional accessories such as magic arms (SmallRig ID 3874, 3875), monitor mounts (SmallRig ID 2904B), Manfrotto baseplates (SmallRig ID 1280, 2458), L-shaped mounting plate kits (SmallRig ID MD4360) and others. The right side of the cage features two horizontal 1/4"-20 screw holes for attaching tripods (SmallRig ID 3989), providing stability during vertical shooting.

The cage features regular strap slots compatible with wrist straps (SmallRig ID 3848, 2456), an innovative strap slot for hanging down for additional lens protection and a QD interface compatible with QD quick-release shoulder straps (SmallRig ID 4118).

The Arca-Swiss quick-release base plate allows direct mounting on Arca-type tripods (SmallLRig ID 4060, 4353) and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro stabilisers, enabling quick transitions between stabiliser, handheld and tripod setups. In addition, the cage features a magnetic double head key on the bottom for easy assembly and disassembly.

The cage comes with a durable scratch-resistant tempered glass screen protector with a surface hardness of 9H and an IK03 impact resistance test rating.
