The SmallRig Swing-Away 4414 is designed for users who need to quickly change lenses on their matte box. It features a 1/4” threaded hole and positioning holes on the bottom to accommodate commonly used matte boxes. With a top opening for easy upward installation, this design allows for seamless operation alongside 15mm dual rods, allowing the Swing-Away mechanism to be used unobstructed without sacrificing stability thanks to the secure locking of the dual rod sliders.
The side-opening arm offers horizontal and vertical adjustments, accommodating cameras of varying heights and different lens sizes. With a simple push, it swings open smoothly at angles from 90 to 180 degrees, providing ample room for lens changes. The compact and lightweight design of the swing-away makes for an incredibly light user experience.
