The camera body has been redesigned compared to its predecessor. The A7 IV is equipped with a fast and clear electronic viewfinder with 3.69 million dots. The LCD screen has also been updated. It is now fully vari-angle and tiltable, and features touchscreen control. Stability and comfort are essential while photographing and filming, which is why the camera features 5-axis in-body image stabilisation.

The menu of the A7 IV has also been renewed compared to its predecessor. You can now control the menu using the touchscreen, switch easily between photo, video and S&Q mode with the dedicated dial, and use two memory cards in the body. All these new features help you focus even more on creating.

As a videographer, the A7 IV gives you plenty to work with. You can record in 4K quality at 60p without pixel binning, ensuring top-level image quality. More advanced creators can choose to record in 10-bit 4:2:2 and make full use of S-CINETONE and S-LOG 3 picture profiles. This helps you come home with cinematic footage that is easy to edit. You can also save your own settings in the menu, such as the exposure triangle and your preferred picture profile settings.

Here too, you benefit from fast real-time autofocus for tracking moving subjects or the eyes of your subject. People or animals, it makes no difference. The A7 IV also offers unique video tools, such as focus compensation, a digital audio interface for connecting professional audio microphones and an advanced heat dissipation structure. The latter is ideal if you often work with longer recording sessions.

Sony has taken many steps to improve ease of use with this full-frame camera, and that includes videographers. Thanks to the new body design, the record button is now positioned on top of the body. This allows you to start or stop your recordings quickly and easily, right where your thumb naturally rests.

Are you often on the go and want to share files quickly? No problem. The camera is easy to use and offers fast options for sharing your photos and videos. Thanks to the latest USB-C Gen 3.2 compatibility, an ultra-fast Wi-Fi chip and Bluetooth mode, you can transfer and share your images with the world right away. In addition to sharing your images, Bluetooth also lets you make automatic backups, so you no longer have to head home worrying about losing your files.

Connectivity is not only about sharing your images with others. You can also use the A7 IV as a streaming camera. You can livestream in 4K 15p or in Full HD 60p without a capture card. This means that as a streamer, you always stay connected with your audience, wherever you are.

The Sony FE 28-70mm F3.5-5.6 OSS II is a lightweight full-frame zoom lens with optical image stabilisation and a versatile 28-70 mm focal range. This second-generation lens is designed for compact Alpha cameras and delivers reliable performance for everyday use, travel and all-round photography.

Thanks to its built-in optical image stabilisation, you can capture sharper images in low light or when shooting zoomed-in photos. The Sony FE 28-70mm F3.5-5.6 OSS II is fully compatible with all current and future features of the Sony Alpha system.

The optical construction includes one ED element and three aspherical elements, which work together to minimise aberrations and deliver a bright, high-contrast image. The circular seven-blade aperture contributes to a soft and natural bokeh. This allows your subject to stand out beautifully against a blurred background.
