The Sony A7 Mark III Body is a full frame mirrorless camera that is perfect for professional photographers and videographers. The camera has a 24.2 MP back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS image sensor and offers the option to shoot videos in 4K resolution. With no fewer than 693 phase detection points, which cover 93% of the image, and 425 contrast AF points, you benefit from fast, highly accurate focusing. The impressive ISO range of 100-51200 (extendable to 50-204,800) also makes the A7 Mark III an excellent option in low-light situations. With the high-quality XGA OLED Tru-Finder viewfinder, you can keep a close eye on your subject and even the smallest details are reproduced lifelike. Plus, you can choose between 'High' or 'Standard' image quality for both the viewfinder and the camera's monitor.

Over and above taking photos, the Sony A7 Mark III Body is also a great piece of kit for making professional videos. The camera does this in 4K quality across the entire width of the full frame sensor. The new HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) image profile supports an HDR workflow that allows you to play back your images in lifelike quality on HDR-compatible TVs. For more colour gradation, you can use the S-Log2 and S-Log3 functions. Prefer to shoot in Full HD? If so, you are guaranteed 120 fps at a maximum of 100 Mbps. This is ideal for when you want to edit footage and, say, want to include slow motion images in your videos.

Among many other things, what makes the Sony A7 Mark III so suitable for the professional photographer is the dual memory card slot. This allows you to shoot for longer periods of time without having to switch the memory card in your camera. Plus, the battery life is up to 710 images per charge.
