Sony FE 16-35mm F/2.8 GM
The Sony FE 16-35mm F/2.8 GM is a fast and flexible wide-angle zoom lens especially for Sony full frame E-mount system cameras, and its zoom range makes it suitable for landscapes, architecture and portraits, among other things. With a constant maximum aperture of f/2.8, this lens offers consistent performance across the entire zoom range and is suitable for low-light work. The optical construction of the 16-35mm F/2.8 GM includes two Extra-Low dispersion lens elements to minimise chromatic aberration, along with two XA elements and three aspherical elements that significantly reduce spherical aberrations and ensure high image quality and very sharp shots. In addition, this lens features a Nano AR coating to prevent ghosting and lens flare for increased contrast and better colour reproduction when working in bright light conditions. This coating also makes dust and grease less likely to adhere.
The Sony FE 16-35mm F/2.8 GM features an almost perfectly rounded aperture with 11 aperture blades, creating a beautiful and soft bokeh effect. Two Direct Drive SSM AF groups provide fast, quiet and highly accurate autofocus for both shooting and filming. This lens has a dust- and moisture-resistant design allowing you to keep shooting or filming even in adverse weather conditions. It also features focus lock, hood release and with the AF/MF switch you can easily switch between manual and auto focus.
