Description
Sony A7R Mark III A
The Sony A7R Mark III A is made for the professional photographer. The “R” stands for resolution and with 42.4 megapixels the resolution is high. To attain this resolution the A7R Mark III A uses a 35mm Exmor R CMOS sensor and the BIONZ X processor. The processor delivers fast image processing, fast autofocus and a shooting speed of 10fps. Plus, the camera also has a high ISO sensitivity. It features a maximum ISO default of 32000, but this is expandable to 102400.
Eye Autofocus
Sony uses (Animal) Eye Autofocus. This function ensures you always have your subject in focus. The autofocus uses the Fast Hybrid autofocus system. It has a whopping 399 phase-detection focus points and 425 counter-detection focus points.
Image stabilisation
Lastly, the built-in 5-axis image stabilisation means you are assured vibration & shock-free stable images.The 5-axis image stabilisation is achieved with the use of Sony's E mount lenses.
Viewfinder and display
This camera has an electronic viewfinder with Quad-VGA OLED and colour image. The viewfinder measures 1.3cm and has a small magnification of about 0.78x.The difference between the A7R Mark III and the new A7R Mark III A version lies mainly in the display. It is tiltable and measures approx. 7.5cm, with 2359.296 pixels. It has a touchscreen. This lets you work quickly and effectively.You can display different settings on the viewfinder and screen to help you take truly stunning photos. You can set a histogram, zebra, graphic display and more.
Filming
With the Sony A7R Mark III A, you can also film at 4K30p and HD. You also have the option to film in S-Log3 and S-Log2. This gives a wide dynamic range, but also gives you the flexibility to colour-grade.
