The CMOS sensor has an integrated memory in which large data can be temporarily stored, so that the readout speed is up to 20 times faster than with normal sensors. The processor works with a front-end LSI to guarantee the speed at AF/AEF. In addition, the viewfinder guarantees a blackout-free image, unique in the camera world, even when you take several shots in succession. This way you have an unbroken view of your subject, even while shooting! The high-speed, flicker-free shutter opens up even more shooting options. The A9 Mark II offers 10fps using the mechanical shutter, which is twice the speed of its predecessor. 

The Sony A9 Mark II system camera includes a dual SD UHS-II memory card slot. Since you can insert two SD cards into the camera at the same time, you can shoot for longer and save your images separately or back them up immediately. Operation is via the tilting touchscreen LCD screen and the updated button design. In addition, the mount is provided with a protective coating layer, which automatically repels dirt.

The Sony A9 Mark II's full weather resistance has been improved over its predecessor. For example, the body seams, the battery compartment cover and the media slot cover have been reinforced.
