The DSR-PD175P Camcorder is a professional Standard Definition camera. The camcorder is designed to maintain all the ergonomic standards of a handheld camera. This results in considerable ease of use, but above all, flexibility. The G-lens provides breathtaking sharpness, colour and contrast. It is designed in such a way that it dovetails perfectly with the image sensor. The lens features 20x optical zoom and a wide angle of 29.5 mm. Plus, the lens has three ND filters and independent control with focus, zoom and iris rings. Clearvid CMOS Sensors from Sony provide high resolution, high sensitivity, wide dynamic range and excellent colour rendering. Because of this, it can reach a low light level of 1.5 Lux. As such, the camcorder offers professional performance, even when there is little light or when you are unable to regulate the light yourself. The camera distinguishes itself with advanced image processing technology and extensive settings. For example, you have a progressive scan mode, smooth slow recording and six independent image profiles for different camera settings. The XtraFine LCD screen and Electronic viewfinder are both high resolution with both having a colour display of 6500K; the LCD screen has 921000 pixels and the EVF has 1227000 pixels. Plus, they can both display the colours with remarkable precision.
