The Sony Electret Condensor short shotgun microphone ECM-674 offers excellent sensitivity of -36 dB (0 dB = 1 V/Pa) and a low self-noise level of less than 17 dB SPL. This allows the microphone to be used for clear speech recording, even in noisy environments. Thanks to the dual power option, the microphone works both on external power and on batteries, making it suitable for camcorder mounting as well as many other sound recording applications. It is designed as a highly directional and lightweight shotgun microphone. With a length of only 268 mm and a weight of just 185 grams, it is easy to use.
