Sony Shotgun microphone ECM-CG50BP
The Sony Shotgun microphone ECM-CG50BP with supercardioid characteristic improves directional sensitivity. Ideal for clear recordings of sound sources at medium distance. Off-axis ambient sound is effectively suppressed and only a recording angle directly in front of the microphone is accepted. The built-in low-cut filter helps reduce rumble caused by wind noise or vibrations. The included windscreen reduces wind noise and plosive sounds. The shock-mount holder included with the microphone helps reduce vibration noise when the microphone is mounted on a camcorder. Power is supplied via the microphone input of the Sony camcorder. When used with a DSLR or a non-compatible camcorder, approximately 900 hours of power is provided by inserting one AA battery.
