The Sony SMAD-P5 Multi Interface (MI) adapter provides a cable-free connection between the URX-P40 wireless receiver and compatible Sony cameras or camcorders with an MI shoe. This adapter makes it possible to receive audio signals directly without external cables, keeping your setup cleaner and more efficient. The adapter draws power directly from the camera via the MI Shoe and automatically turns on and off with your camera, so your gear is always ready when you need it.
The direct digital connection via the MI Shoe significantly reduces on-location setup time.
