Wide choice

The variety in speaker boxes is considerable, partly thanks to the various surround amplifier systems with several channels and splitting of low, mid and high tones (or combinations) over various boxes. From for instance Definitive Technology and Harman Kardon, we offer complete 5.1 home cinema kits in all price classes, with or without integrated amplifiers, whereby integrated amplifiers can function both stand-alone or as a multi-channel extension of an already present receiver or amplifier.

Integrated

On the other hand, we see again the integration of several speakers in one compact central speaker unit, or as with for instance Audica or Sonos, in an almost elongated horizontal shape such as with the Soundplates and Soundbars. Partly thanks to the convenience of wireless connections, speakers are increasingly often combined with integrated amplifiers, in order to provide additional or stand-alone sound solutions for LED TV and Blu-Ray player or mobile media in a simple way.

Various segments

Loudspeaker columns perform very well in every room, and can be purchased at very attractive rates - even for less than 200 euro - from well-known speaker manufacturers such as Jamo or Boston. From Piega, Magnat, Jamo and Definitive, we also offer columns in more expensive segments, up to the absolute top class. Most models from brands such as Piega, Definitive Technology or Jamo have been designed as a universal speaker with tweeters, mid range speakers and woofer. Some models deliver high and mid ranges in particular, and then it is advisable to add the deeper bass tones by means of a separate central speaker box or subwoofer by for example Definitive, Jamo or Piega.

Make the difference

Some compact and even extensive home cinema systems show a lack regarding power, in particular in the bass reproduction for films and games with graphic scenes or effects. The feeling in particular that sometimes more than sound is so important in such fragments often does not come across well enough. With their built-in amplifiers up to 300w, subwoofers from the Definitive Technology Pro Sub line or from Polk resolve this lack without any problems, and even much more!

Choose your combination

Central speaker boxes are applied within smaller sound combinations as well as very extensive multi-channel systems such as from Jamo, Onkyo, and Harman Kardon, etc. In order to be able to compose combinations according to your own insight, some - for instance Polk and Piega - are also supplied separately. For a spatial reproduction, often several satellite speaker boxes are used in rooms, in order to distribute the mid and high tones optimally, in a bookcase or hanging on the wall or ceiling. In this segment you will find for instance Harman Kardon, Jamo and Boston.
