The Steiner Commander is a marine binocular and an essential accessory for anyone who spends time on or around the water. The Steiner Commander has an open-bridge design. The NBR durable rubber trim and coating for extra grip and slip resistance. The binoculars are waterproof to a depth of 10 metres.
The Commander offers 7x magnification and has an objective diameter of 50mm. The coating is a unique Diamond Marine coating, a mix of rare fluoride and other minerals. This gives a clear image with unëvenalled light transmission, clarity and contrast, even in low light.
The eyecups have individual diopter adjustment and keep images razor-sharp from 20 metres to infinity. Optimal distance to the exit pupil is possible and a full 40-metre field of view can be comfortably used. The eye cups are ergonomically designed and protect the eyes from light and wind while viewing.
The Steiner Commander is available in two different options, with compass or without. This is the version with compass. The compass is covered and protected by an NBR durable rubber covering and the compass needle can respond quickly thanks to advanced fluid damping. The light is ideally positioned so you don't have to move your hand to turn it on and off.
