Description
Steiner Navigator Autobright 7x50 Compass
With a 50 mm objective diameter and 7x magnification, the Steiner Navigator Autobright 7x50 Compass binoculars offer a calm view even in rough seas and guarantee a clear image with excellent contrast and detail sharpness, even in the dark. The extended field of view makes it easier for users to navigate safely when entering a harbour or similar narrow environments, such as when crossing bridges or sailing in narrow archipelagos.
The binoculars feature Steiner's exclusive Autobright Sunlight-adaptive lens technology, seen in their successful Blue Horizon series. Autobright means the binoculars automatically adjust brightness for the best possible image under all lighting conditions. The technology makes it easier to see whether it is at sunrise, on a reflective water surface in bright sunlight or during the day in difficult weather conditions.
Autobright technology is based on photochromatic lenses refined with special molecules developed by Steiner that react to sunlight and automatically adjust to light intensity and reduce distracting glare. This also protects the eyes from UV light and bright sunlight. Thanks to the photochromatic lenses and Steiner's high-contrast optics, the new Navigator Autobright always delivers bright, high-contrast images with great sharpness and a brilliant 3D viewing experience with natural colour reproduction.
The binoculars feature the classic, user-friendly Porro prism design with an open hinge. The innovative "open bridge system" makes it easy to use the Navigator Autobright with one hand, even in demanding conditions on the high seas. The wave-like rubber reinforcement texture not only provides a firm grip, but also repels water to ensure non-slip handling in heavy seas.
The Navigator Autobright 7x50 Compass comes with an illuminated, analogue, liquid-damped compass with an accurate reticle for easy orientation at sea.
