Description
This Tamron 28-75mm F2.8 Di III RXD Sony E lens combines a slim form factor with a versatile range and is a full-frame compatible lens for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. The lens has a range from wide-angle to portrait length, a constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 complements this range and offers more control over the depth of field and improved low-light performance. The optical design includes a series of layer dispersion and aspherical elements, producing a highly corrected image with reduced spherical and chromatic aberrations for improved sharpness and clarity. Lens elements also feature the BBAR coating from Tamron, which suppresses lens flare and ghosts for more contrast and color fastness when working in backlight and under difficult lighting conditions. An RXD stepper motor enables fast, virtually noiseless autofocus performance for photos and video, along with permanent manual focus and a minimum focusing distance of 19 cm. The lens has a moisture-resistant construction together with a fluorine-coated front element to protect against fingerprints and stains.
