What do you need for a tethered shoot?

A good addition to this is a so-called jerk stopper. This small accessory prevents you from accidentally dislodging the cable and damaging your camera.
USB(C) cable
Can I use any USB(C) cable to create a tethered connection? In principle, yes, but it is not recommended. Simply because of the large (RAW) files that you transfer to the computer. If you then use a normal USB(C) cable, it takes minutes for something to be transferred, while if you use a special tethering USB cable, it only takes seconds. This way you can just carry on with your shoot.
But not only the speed is a plus, a tethered cable has even more advantages. A striking colour and a longer cable offers you more possibilities.
In addition, a tethered cable is also better shielded than a standard cable. You have a more reliable and stable transfer.
