The Tilta Hydra Alien Pro Car Mounting System - V-mount (12512119) uses manually operated suction cups, while the Electronic Mounting Kit (12518722) is equipped with electronic suction cups. These offer extra safety because they automatically maintain a vacuum, detect pressure loss and pump independently during use.

Capture smooth motion shots with a car-mounted camera rig using the Tilta Hydra Alien Pro Electronic Mounting Kit - V-mount. The kit includes the complete Hydra Alien Pro mounting system with a range of rods, dovetail plates and electronic suction cups, as well as a shock-absorbing arm, shock-absorbing head, power base plate, dual V-mount plate, counterweights, interchangeable shock absorber kit, safety lanyard, a mounting adapter for DJI Ronin gimbals and power cables.

The Hydra Alien Pro vehicle mounting system uses a highly customisable combination of dovetail plates and strong electronic suction cups that allow users to fine-tune the exact placement of their shot to achieve almost any angle when mounted on a vehicle. The updated Pro design has additional safety features such as retractable safety pins and a sliding design for minor adjustments.

The electronic suction cups offer advantages over standard suction cups with a 5-second attachment speed, 1000x per section real-time pressure detection and 8-12 hours of battery life to maintain grip. These improvements are designed to save time and effort while keeping your equipment even safer.

The updated Pro arm is designed to mount and dismount a small or medium-sized gimbal, such as a DJI RS4 Pro or Ronin 4D, using Manfrotto dovetail plates, and there are multiple safety pins and buttons to keep your equipment secure. Multiple 1/4‘-20 and 3/8’-16 threads provide additional mounting points.

Please note: The suction cups do not support heavy loads such as the DJI Ronin 2 at maximum load.
