Tilta Hydra Alien Pro Car Mounting System – Speed Rail Kit
The Tilta Hydra Alien Pro Car Mounting System – Speed Rail Kit is a modular and professional rig solution for vehicle-based cinematography. This kit is designed for use with gimbals such as the DJI RS4 Pro and Ronin 2 and uses a tow bar adapter and speed rail mounting instead of suction cups as the primary mounting system. This provides an exceptionally sturdy and reliable installation, ideal for dynamic shots on and around vehicles.
The shock-absorbing arm supports loads of up to 13 kg and is equipped with a motorised shock absorber head that increases the stability of the system, similar to the operation of a gimbal. In combination with the optional Nucleus Nano 2 control lever, the damping settings can be adjusted wirelessly, offering flexibility in a variety of driving situations.
For larger gimbals such as the DJI Ronin 2, the included speed rail clamp is essential to ensure sufficient space and stability. The construction also includes quick-release receivers for easy mounting and removal of the shock-absorbing arm without tools.
The system can be expanded with additional accessories such as counterweights, mounting plates and cables, and comes in two sturdy transport cases.
Please note: for use with heavy gimbals such as the Ronin 2, mounting via speed rail only is strongly recommended. Mounting via suction cups is not recommended in this case.
