TTArtisan Dot Sight black
The TTArtisan Dot Sight (visor) in the colour black is a photographic accessory to support telephotography. When the Red Dot is attached to the camera's hot shoe, you can photograph subjects at a distance. The sight can be used with both DSLR and mirrorless cameras, as long as the camera has a cold shoe mount/flash shoe attachment.
Note: Make sure you position the battery correctly. The highest point of the lens including other accessories (filter holder, etc.) should not be higher than the flash shoe point of 3 cm. Higher than 3 cm blocks the view.
The point sight is only used as an aiming aid. It is normal for the field of view to deviate slightly from the monitor's field of view. The dot sight is not visible in the viewfinder or monitor. It is recommended to aim at objects at a distance of 10 metres. Placing it too close may lead to poor results. If you use a zoom lens, set it to your chosen focal length.
Three steps to calibrate the reticle: mount the camera on a tripod to calibrate. Adjust the reticle position using the dials and align the camera screen to the same target as the dot sight. Slide the pop-up control to the left to raise the crosshairs.
The red reticle is typically used in low-light conditions. Its bright red colour stands out better against a dark background, allowing the photographer to capture the target quickly and accurately.
The green reticle is more suitable for outdoors or in bright environments. The soft green is not too bright in bright light and provides a clear and comfortable view.
The dot sight offers five levels of brightness to adapt to different lighting conditions.
The Dot visor switches off when not used for 6 hours. The automatic sleep mode prevents unnecessary power consumption. Simply press the colour selection button to activate the Dot visor. Press and hold the colour selection button for 3 seconds to enter sleep mode. Press the cover down to switch off the power.
