The Valoi Custom Series Holder 126 is suitable for scanning 126 format film (28 x 28 mm frames). The Holder can be used to hold film on its own or in combination with the separately available Valoi Advancer.

Valoi Custom Series holders are made in small volumes and small batches by community request. Valoi decided to make these to support niche formats that are otherwise difficult to scan.
While normal holders are injection moulded - a high-volume process for making high-end plastic parts - Custom Series holders are too low in volume for this process. Therefore, Valoi turned to community member and 3D printing master Simon Forster in the UK to help them get the best possible holders. These are not your average 3D-printed home parts, but highly optimised prints from finely tuned high-end printers.
To maintain the good film quality and flatness of our normal holders, the Custom Series holders are made to such tolerances that most home printers would struggle to get a usable product. This is especially true for the film track, which, like the normal holders, has been kept as tight as possible.
Valoi recommends using thin cotton gloves while scanning to avoid damage to the film.
To create a final image, additional separately available accessories are required, such as a digital camera, a short-focus distance lens and a light source.

- Prevents reflections: matte black plastic and strategic anti-reflection corners
- Quick-advance system: push or pull film through, no hassle with traditional clam-shell designs
- Minimises edge vignetting with a beveled design under the film
- Comes with adhesive rubber feet for stability
- Can be used with or without the Valoi Advancer
- Optimised for full rolls - it works with cut strips, but flatness may vary
