Valoi easy35 Minox Holder
The Valoi easy35 Minox Holder allows you to scan Minox film that is 9.2 mm wide and has a frame size of 8 x 11 mm. The holder fits into the easy35 system, just like any other compatible holder, by sliding out the existing holder and inserting this new one.
Because the size is so small and there is some variation over the years, Valoi cannot guarantee that the entire frame will be visible. The dimensions of the gate are approximately: 12 mm long, 8 mm wide. Valoi easy35 holders work by feeding the film through a thin slit that goes through the entire holder and out the other side. This way, you can easily push or pull the film all the way through, saving time and effort compared to a traditional clamshell holder.
All Valoi holders use a double S-curve design, where the slit through which the film passes curves before and after the scanning port. By bending the film slightly in one direction on both sides, greater flatness is achieved than would be possible with a straight slit.
