The Astrhori 18mm F8-28 Canon EF black (APS-C) is a unique tool designed to reveal amazing details hidden in tight spaces. The manual AstrHori 18mm F8 APS-C macro probe lens has a 2:1 magnification ratio and a waterproof probe extension with frontal illumination. The 2x magnification capability enables close-up detail, while the slim 23 mm diameter of the extension is ideal for mounting in narrow apertures and tight spaces.
The optical structure consists of 23 elements in 17 groups and has an aperture range of f/8 to f/28. All in all, the wide-angle macro provides a large depth of field that brings both the subject and its surroundings into sharp focus, for images with rich surroundings.
The AstrHori 18mm F8 macro lens with 2x magnification allows photographers to capture rich details and textures in macro shots. With a 76-degree wide angle, it has a large depth of field, allowing more elements to be included in the frame, highlighting macro details and better integrating the subject with its surroundings. This allows a reasonable working distance of 47 cm from the subject, creating images with more impact.
The extension tube of the AstrHori 18mm F8 2X Macro Probe lens is waterproof, allowing it to be used underwater, up to 25 cm, for photos in special environments.
The waterproof protective lenses on the front are made of sapphire, a high-hardness, scratch-resistant material, extending the life of the lens and expanding the usage scenarios. The 18 mm F8 macro lens has an integrated high-power circular fill light, adjustable to 10 brightness levels.
The light is powered via a Type-C port, with a voltage of 5V, current of 1A and power of 5W. This light is ideal for shooting in caves, pipelines, narrow and long spaces, areas with low ambient light, the interior of small objects, details of products, etc.
