The AstrHori 50mm f/2 is a versatile lens. The 'nifty fifty' is very popular in many branches of photography, including portrait and landscape photography. The large f/2 aperture also lets you take great images in low light. The lens has a fine 46.8-degree angle of view and preserves the natural proportions of your subject.
The lens has a stepless aperture ring which goes up to f/16. The lowest number indicated is f/2, but you can rotate the ring just a little further, ending up with an aperture of about f/1.8.
The lens has a sturdy, metal body. The 6 glass elements divided into 5 groups ensure good image quality and the 9 aperture blades deliver soft bokeh. The lens' shortest focusing distance is 50cm and it has a 52mm filter thread.
