The BIG Lens Adapter Pentax K to EOS (APS-C only) enables the use of Pentax K lenses on a Canon EOS camera (APS-C only). To combine lenses and camera bodies with different bayonet connectors, a special lens adapter is required, so that older lenses can also be used in the digital age. Due to its precise and accurate mounting, the adapter locks securely into the camera's bayonet connection. The connection is completely mechanical, so no electronic data transfer takes place. So settings regarding f-stop, focus, etc. have to be made manually from the lens.
