Excellent macro lens.
This is an excellent EF-M macro lens. The hood allows a 43mm filter to be attached. The LED lighting is a useful and innovative feature which I've never seen before. This lens takes excellent close up macro photographs. I wish I'd bought one sooner.

The Canon EF-M 28mm F3.5 Macro IS STM is a compact, innovative lens with unlimited macro possibilities. What's more, it's the first AF lens with built-in Macro Lite (LED light), to remove shadows and dark spots. Your pictures will show incredible detail.
Aside from a 1.0x life-size magnification, the lens offers a 1.2x magnification in Super Macro mode, allowing for incredible close-up photography. This will no doubt bring you closer to your subject. To help you capture even the smallest detail, the shortest focus distance is only 13mm.

The Macro Lite can be operated with a button, and allows you to adjust the light intensity and direction on one or both sides of the Macro Lite, in order to light small subjects from up close.
