Canon PL CINEMA CN-E 20mm T1.5 L M
The Canon Sumire Prime CINEMA CN-E 20mm T1.5 FP X Meter PL Mount is a full-frame cinema prime lens. The lens has been developed for cinematographers who want to combine maximum creative control with the recognisable image quality of the Sumire Prime series. The 20mm focal length offers a wide angle of view for subjects such as landscapes and interiors. The large T1.5 aperture delivers excellent performance in low light and enables a shallow depth of field. Canon has designed the optics for a subtle, beautiful rendering with warm colours, soft skin tones and a smooth transition between sharpness and blur. This gives images a distinct cinematic character.
The lens covers both full-frame and Super 35 sensors and features a PL mount that can be converted to EF by Canon. The 11-blade aperture creates soft bokeh. The optical construction minimises focus breathing, keeping the image stable during focus pulls. With a 300° focus rotation, a uniform front diameter of 114 mm and identical gear positions within the Sumire series, you can change lenses quickly without readjusting accessories. The lens also supports 105 mm screw-in filters for added flexibility on set.
