The Cokin Z Gradual ND Kit 0U3HO-25 is a set of three gray gradient filters that allow you to balance the light intensity in a photograph. This applies in particular to circumstances in which you do not have complete control over the light. Consider, for example, landscapes with a sharp contrast. It happens that due to bright sunlight the background fades and the foreground gets too dark. This will cause details to be lost.
A gray gradient filter ensures that the difference in light intensity is deactivated so that a balanced exposure is displayed. This Cokin Z Gradual ND Kit contains a Z121S filter, a Z121M filter and a Z121L filter. The Z121L filter gives a gentle gradient and a compensation of 1 stop. The Z121M filter also has a soft gradient, but gives a compensation of 2 stops. The Z121S filter has a three-quarter gray gradient and compensates for 3 stops.
Please note: you need an adapter ring for attaching the filter holder; it is not included.
