Who is Cokin?
The filter brand Cokin was founded in 1978 by the famous French fashion and landscape photographer Jean Coquin. The Cokin filter system is a drop-in filter system where you work with square and rectangular filters which you slide into a filter holder. You can easily attach this filter holder to every lens with a screw, for this purpose you use an adapter ring in the correct format. Cokin filters, almost all made from C39 material, are well-known for their high quality and optical brightness. The filters are also lightweight and very strong.
