The DZOFilm Arles 40mm FF/VV Prime Cine Lens (PL mount, metre) delivers stunningly sharp and natural-looking images for full-frame ARRI PL-mount cameras. With its wide T1.4 aperture, this lens offers exceptional low-light capabilities and captivating shallow depth of field. The 16-blade aperture and advanced optical design improve bokeh quality. The focus ring rotates 270° and the iris ring rotates 77°, providing precise manual control.
With a 50 mm image circle, this lens is optimised for large-format camera sensors. When used with large apertures, the lens offers a soft, low-contrast look with a characteristic swirling bokeh.
The lens features floating elements to minimise breathing and aspherical elements for superior low-light performance. Low-dispersion optical materials reduce chromatic aberration.
