The medium telephoto range makes the lens enormously versatile and allows you to use it for all kinds of photography. The wide angle lets you capture wide landscapes and architecture, but the zoom range also makes the lens ideal for travel and portrait photography.
Designed specifically for high-resolution cameras, the lens offers exceptional optical power across the entire zoom range. This allows you to effortlessly combine the lens with the 40.2-million-pixel X-Trans and CMOS 5 HR sensor. By using 3 aspherical and 3 ED glass elements, chromatic aberration is reduced and you shoot bright and high-contrast images across the entire zoom range. The lens has a minimum focusing distance of just 24 centimetres, allowing you to get reasonably close to your subject. In addition, the Fujifilm XF 16-50mm features a unique magnification factor with 0.3x magnification, allowing you to capture the smallest details.
