Traditional step-up rings were always a cumbersome solution for photographers and filmmakers using multiple lenses. The RevoRing system changed the rules of the game by introducing a variable-diameter ring system. The RevoRing MKII continues this innovation with an improved locking mechanism that provides greater security and stability while shooting.

The heart of the RevoRing MKII consists of variably retractable slats and a new safety button. This improved locking mechanism ensures a firm grip on the lens and prevents unintentional release, especially during dynamic shooting. Thanks to this implementation, photographers and filmmakers can now work with complete confidence in any environment, whether in the studio or on location.

The RevoRing MKII retains its key feature: a variable retractable blade system, making it suitable for different lens sizes. The additional safety button ensures filters stay firmly in place, minimising the risk of slipping.

One of the most important improvements to the RevoRing MKII is its expanded compatibility. It now integrates seamlessly with H&Y's RevoSwift series, including the RevoSwift Matte Box and the 100x100mm magnetic filter system. The RevoSwift Bridge Ring allows 100x100mm or 100x150mm filters to be easily mounted on the RevoRing MKII. This makes it the most versatile system for creative professionals who need flexibility in light control and image enhancement.

The RevoRing MKII offers greater stackability, allowing photographers to combine multiple filters, such as the 100x100mm or 100x150mm magnetic filters, with the VND + CPL without interrupting settings. Combined with the RevoSwift Matte Box, the RevoRing MKII forms a powerful and flexible platform that increases creative opportunities for exposure control and fine-tuning of image quality.

H&Y continues to lead in filter innovation and was the first company to combine a variable neutral density filter (VND) with a circular polarisation filter (CPL) in ééone product. The RevoRing MKII VND (ND3-1000) + CPL allows precise control over light, reflections and colour enhancement. With an ND range of 1.5 to 10 stops, it is perfect for both photography and videography.

N.B.: For focal lengths between 16 mm and 35 mm, it is recommended not to reduce more than 5 stops to avoid the X effect. To enhance the ND effect, it is recommended to combine a clip-on or plate ND filter with appropriate adapters.

The RevoRing MKII introduces two lock buttons, één for the VND filter and één for the CPL, allowing users to fine-tune each filter without disturbing the others. After the settings are adjusted, both can be locked for stability, giving photographers and filmmakers unëven control while shooting.

The RevoRing MKII VND + CPL is made of German Schott B270 glass and treated with advanced anti-reflection and nano-coating technologiesën. With nine layers of coating on both sides, it optimises light transmission, reduces flares and minimises reflections. The filter is also designed with an anti-fingerprint and waterproof nano-coating, ensuring durability and easy maintenance. Japanese Nitto polarisation film guarantees polarisation efficiency of up to 99.9% for exceptional image clarity.
