One such effect is controlling light reflections on glass or water surfaces. With the HOYA HD nano Mk II CIR-PL you can control light waves entering the lens by filtering out all polarized light. This allows you to see under water surfaces. This effect is also great on glass surfaces. By removing reflections you can see through the glass and into interiors.
