The Hoya 67mm X1 is a green filter mainly used for black and white photography and is very effective for portraits in artificial light due to its beneficial effect on red tones. In addition, it is ideal for scenes where it is important to distinguish green tones, such as landscapes. However, this colour filter can also be used with colour films to produce special colour effects. To prevent effects such as ghosting and reflections, each glass surface has three layers of anti-reflective coating. These coatings therefore offer better protection and help to keep the filter cleaner for longer. This Hoya 67mm X1 colour filter is made of optical glass for optimum clarity and it has an aluminium alloy filter ring, making it both durable and lightweight.
