.The JJC HB-101 Nikon Lens hood is designed to prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens. The non-reflective matt finish on the inside prevents or reduces lens flare. With the Lens hood on, no vignetting is visible. The Lens hood can also be placed backwards over the lens for more compact storage. On the lens hood, you can fit a 62mm filter and a 62mm lens cap. With the extended end of the lens, you also benefit from extra protection from unintentional shocks. This JJC LH-HB101 Lens hood replaces the original Nikon HB-101 lens hood.
