The Kase Lens 85mm F/1.4 AF lens (Fuji X) is a portrait lens with Fuji X mount and magnetic filter technology, equipped with a powerful F1.4 bokeh. Perfect for portraits, videos and creative work!

The main body of the lens has a moulded design for a better feel and a significant weight reduction. The rear of the lens is made of metal for a more secure attachment to the camera. The front of the lens has a moulded design to allow for a good feel of the focus ring. The metal aperture ring at the rear provides direct feedback when adjusting the aperture settings.

The lens cap has a magnetic attachment design, providing 360-degree protection, better protection, dustproofing and easier attachment and removal. It avoids the problems of loose click-on caps and dust intrusion found in two-point click designs. Magnetic filters can be attached directly to the lens, which is a more convenient way to use filters.

Based on feedback from many photographers, Kase has designed two customisable buttons on the lens. The FN2 button is set to the minimum focus distance. A single press switches the lens to the minimum focus distance, and a long press locks the current focus distance. This feature provides more convenient and faster operation.

Switching between apertures: position A is set to maximum aperture F1.4 by default. The aperture setting ring has precise click stops for each aperture setting, making it easier to set the desired aperture. When set to position A, the aperture automatically switches to the maximum aperture of F1.4, eliminating the need to reset it. Every detail has been designed with the user's convenience in mind.

Excellent image quality, superior image resolution and true-to-life colour reproduction. Even at the fully open aperture of F1.4, the image remains clear and sharp. The use of low-dispersion, high-refractive-index elements significantly improves the optical quality of the lens and reduces flare and ghosting. Even in backlit conditions, the lens can produce high-contrast, high-definition images with high colour accuracy. Preferably use the lens hood to reduce flare.

With a Type-C upgrade port at the bottom of the lens, the latest firmware can be downloaded from the official Kase website for firmware upgrades to improve lens performance.
