The magnetic Kase Wolverine 82mm Black Mist 1/2 filter is a kind of soft focus filter. It gives a special effect to your photos and video, where the dark tones are protected against this effect. The filter normally looks like clear glass, but when you look more closely you see that the glass is diffuse, with small dark or black dots in it.
These dots ensure the preservation of the contrast while making the highlights diffuse. The effect of the Black Mist filter is very small and is determined by the amount of highlights in your photo.
