Laowa 20mm f/4 Zero-D Shift Lens - Canon RF

The Laowa 20mm f/4 Zero-D Shift is an ultra-wide angle shift lens for your Canon RF camera. In addition to high image sharpness and almost no distortion (Zero-D), the lens also comes with a pivoting lens hood to avoid flares and protect the front lens element.

The shift is ±11mm for full-frame cameras and ±8mm for medium format cameras, making it really easy to capture architectural and interior photography in corrected perspective. correct converging vertical lines caused by distance. By changing the perspective of the lens, straight architecture can be easily captured.

The lens has zero-D, which means that the distortion is almost non-existent. That means all straight lines can be maintained from corner to corner. It is an indispensable advantage for architectural, commercial, interior and landscape photographers because the post-processing time is much shorter to make the image look real. The 14-blade diaphragm creates a smooth and circular bokeh, the effect is pleasantly stunning in architectural photography.

In addition to wide-angle shooting capabilities, the Laowa 20mm f/4 Zero-D Shift also offers the option to capture very close objects with a minimum focusing distance of 25cm. This makes it possible to take wide-angle macro photos without having to change lenses.

The 360° rotating lens hood shields the front of the lens. This gives you images without annoying light and unwanted flares. The lens hood is particularly convenient to use with a strong light source from the side. Photographers can also adjust the angle of the lens hood to avoid blocking the image during extreme shifts.
