The optical design of the Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 70-200mm consists of 20 lens elements in 15 groups, including three aspherical elements. These elements ensure razor-sharp, detailed images at all focal lengths. Internal focusing ensures that the overall length of the lens remains constant, making working with this lens a pleasant experience. When more stability is a requirement, you can use the included tripod gondola, allowing the combination of a Leica SL camera and this lens to be used perfectly balanced on a tripod.
